Feng Shui and The Religion

Many people have asked me how to reconcile Feng Shui with religion. There are people who know Feng Shui can help; yet they hesitate to consult a Feng Shui master because they are uncertain if Feng Shui will contradict their faith.
It is important to understand that Feng Shui is not a religion. Feng Shui is the recognition or understanding of the laws of nature, that there are certain patterns of energy. For every force, there is an equal and opposite force. For every cause, there is an effect. This natural phenomenon exists whether you believe in it or not.
Feng Shui is a system of survival that looks to nature for guidance. Just as birds migrate to the south for winter, we, too, should move to where the weather suits us best so we can thrive. Just as spiders strategically spin their webs where there is prey, it is pointless for us to establish an office where there are no customers. Like the changing colors of the chameleon protect it from prey, we need to know how to make changes and adapt our business to competitors.
The energies of nature have a great influence on us. The strong magnetic fields of sunspots on the top of the sun are associated with economic boom while sunspots on the bottom of the sun are related to economic depression and a rise in illnesses and hospital deaths. The moon's phases regulate women's menses and affect our moods. Living in natural settings and nourishing ourselves with natural foods strengths our bodies. All of these things happen regardless if you are Christian, Buddhist, Catholic, or Hindu.
Feng Shui is based on the Taoist philosophy that everything is made of energy or what the Chinese call "chi". There is no "God" in Feng Shui. In Feng Shui, there is an ultimate power or "Tai ji" that rules, connects, and guides us. This is known as the "way" or the "laws" of nature.
If there is to be a "God" in Feng Shui, it would be this power of nature: the source of life. In order for us to excel, we must respect and understand the ways of nature. When we live by the laws of nature, we can progress and evolve into superior beings. This is the basic purpose of Feng Shui.
If we were to apply this basic purpose of Feng Shui to religion. A person's religion should promote their natural well-being as well as others . Religion should be a faith that inspires, enlightens and brings happiness, health and success. However, if practicing the religion does not enable us to develop ourselves in a positive way, then we must question if it is a worthwhile expenditure of our time and energy.
In various world religions, man has created different names and different images to represent a higher intelligence or divine force. I believe at root, almost all religions have similar goals - that we are to believe and have hope in a higher energy, a divine source that creates us, rules us, protects us and offers guidance when we have done wrong.
However, the documents that hold these principles have passed through generations of time, translations and interpretations have likely distorted the original intentions. We must use our judgment to know when man has manipulated these principles to control others for selfish reasons. Therefore, we should not limit ourselves; rather we should open up and use experience to understand what is true and real.
Many things happen in this world that do not have an explanation. It is human nature to fear the unknown and have thus theorized and created our own answers in science and religion. Nonetheless, there are still more things unexplained by science and religion. Feng Shui offers another perspective to see our world and how to deal with, prevent or solve problems we face in our daily lives.
A related issue that comes up is prayer and meditation. Both are similar in that we are using our thoughts to communicate to "God" or an omniscient power to reinforce our desires - be it peace of mind, wealth or health for ourselves or love ones. In Feng Shui, our minds are ultimately powerful. Our thoughts are an energy or frequency that can assert influence on others or ourselves. This is particularly affective if the person's mind energy is focused or are similar to the person in which they want to influence. This power is developed through meditation where creative visualization can be used to induce the realization of our goals and desires such as personal success or the health of a loved one.
In Feng Shui, paying respect to our ancestors at home is a traditional way of respecting the cycle of life. By celebrating our ancestor's energy or spirit, we acknowledge them as our source of life. Although they are not with us physically, their energies exist in nature and are similar to our own. A connection with them allows them to guide and protect us, giving us strength and reinforcing the continuity of the family lineage.

FISH - Symbol for wealth and prosperity. 9 pair of fish symbolizes marriage, conjugal felicity, fertility and tenacity. Auspicious in the Career and Wealth areas. From THE ART OF FENG SHUI,
Why is BaZi more accurate? The BAZi system is reputed as the most authentic for the prediction of an individual's destiny. The system is based on the 12 stages of the life cycle and the interrelationship of the constructive and destructive cycles of the 5 elements. As a fortune-telling system, BaZi is still widely used today as it was before. Whilst other methods of fortune telling are based on the celestial formations such as the planets and the stars in the galaxies, BaZi as a fortune-telling system is based on the movement of the solar system. Even as the planets course around the sun, it is known that human existence is powerfully shaped by the rising and the setting sun. The solar system has an abiding influence on all living beings.
Indeed, it is clear why the sun is such a powerful influence on mankind. It is the centre of the universe after all! A sun-centric system of fortune-telling will certainly be more accurate as the sun is the centre of the galaxies, whereas the stars and planets including earth are only parts of it.
How does it work?In a nutshell, BaZi analyzes the unique numerals of an individual's birth data and gender then matches them to a matrix of metaphysical knowledge based on the Sun and its elemental influences on him/her. Therein lays the fate and destiny of an individual, in the realms of BaZi.
This method uses the 5 basic elements, e.g., wood, fire, earth, metal and water to represent one's Four Pillars of Destiny. Here is a number of important ideas;
1. The 4 Pillars are allocated into the Year, Month, Day and Hour. Each pillar is represented by an element, as translated from one's birth data.
2. Each pillar consists of the Heavenly Stem and the Earthly Branch.
3. The self-element is represented by the Day pillar of the Heavenly Stem and it is employed as a reference point in its inter-relationships with the other seven elements in the 4 Pillars for reading one's destiny.
This system maps out the 12 stages of the life cycle in a person's life to reveal the strengths of the SELF-element within this framework. This forms the basis for a precise interpretation and an accurate forecast of a person's destiny. BaZi interpretation encompasses the various aspects of one's life and the forecast of his future is also based on influence of the ruling element of his luck pillar, year, month and hour.

On a more serious side, it is important to understand that the accuracy and usefulness of a BaZi reading and interpretation session depends largely on the credibility of the BaZi master himself, his knowledge of the 4 Pillars and the context of its application in relation to topics such as economics and financial trends, socio-political issues, physiology, the ups and downs of work life, the challenges of running a business, etc. In short, his BaZi knowledge and his secular skills together with his lifetime experiences should hone his ability to understand and provide practical advice and to help the seeker.

What can Feng Shui Do for person ?

Feng Shui is the Prescription & Bazi is the Diagnosis

The public and yet to understand this synergy between Bazi & Fengshui

What can Feng Shui Do for person…?
Feng Shui only can help hasten and magnify what a person’s capacity in life is…

If a person’s capacity in life is extensive, then Feng Shui can help yield greater effects , on another hand, if his capacity is limited, then there’s little scope as to what feng shui can change for this person..
Every person is born with certain capacity in life or fate.. a life path , this capacity governs his or her potential, outcomes and achievement in life,
When an individual’ s capacity is properly analyzed through BaZi analysis.
Destiny can be analogized to a map of one’s life, This Map is unchanging and static , The destinations upon it is already fixed at the time of a person’s birth.

Destiny is a guideline to your personal limits in life.- 33%
But person’s life is not just about destiny, Destiny cannot change , but
Fortunes can, Fortunes or luck cycle refer to the quality of the road in this map of life, -33%
Thus, When fortunes are favourable , the destination is reached more quickly and more efficiently and the path is smooth,,
When fortunes are unfavourable then the path to a destination is full with challeges ans obstacles, even failure to reach the destination..
The Chinese often talk of destiny and fortunes ( Ming Yun )

The Study of Destiny is about knowing what is within your control and ability and what I not….. please refers to “ Knowing Yourself ”

Now I have to be a bit harsh here… wake up and smell the coffee, life is not always fair..

The higher power of this universe did not make every one equal, By equal, I mean not every person is DESTINED for achieve greatness to become President of USA or Multi millionaire ..

Now you might to be wondering, If it’s all ore- destined, what is the point in knowing..

The truth is that it is good to know one’s limits in life, The English have a saying “ You cannot make a silk purse out of a saw’ ear’… think about it… Oil Painting by BEN CHONG
